Thanks for agreeing to participate in the blog training activity. The primary goal is that you will become proficient at creating and maintaining blogs.

Training format

<iframe width="480" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/k5-rTvhljzA?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

This training is in a hybrid format, i.e., some of it will be done online and some of it face-to-face (f2f).

For the online portion, you will be asked to view a brief online video about blogging, visit a few blogs, then complete a short assessment exercise. This activity should take less than 45 minutes and should be completed before our f2f meeting.

Our f2f training will take place in the computer lab on Wednesday, June 11, from 10am - 12 noon. I hope this will be convenient for you. Please let me know ASAP if it’s not.

Please take your laptop to the lab with you on Wednesday. If not, you may use one of the college's computers.

Before we begin, please create a G-mail account, if you do not already have one. We will be using Google’s Blogger platform to create our blogs. This is why we need G-mail.

Dummy Text 1
Flowers
Cherry Blossom
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar.

Dummy Text 2
The Big Oxmox advised her not to do so, because there were thousands of bad Commas, wild Question Marks and devious Semikoli, but the Little Blind Text didn’t listen. She packed her seven versalia, put her initial into the belt and made herself on the way.

When she reached the first hills of the Italic Mountains, she had a last view back on the skyline of her hometown Bookmarksgrove, the headline of Alphabet Village and the subline of her own road, the Line Lane.
